Eleanor Sanchez

WUSD School Board, Area 4

As a mother to a wonderful son in the Washington Unified School District and a dedicated High School Special Education Paraprofessional, I bring a unique perspective to the role of School Board Trustee. My experience in supporting students with disabilities has deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities within our education system. I am a passionate advocate for public education, committed to ensuring equity and access for all diverse learners.

In my view, a thriving education system requires a strong partnership between schools and the community. As your trustee, I will prioritize open communication and collaboration with our teachers, staff, families, and community members. I believe that maintaining these connections is crucial for crafting effective policies and fostering an environment where every student can succeed.

Our educators and staff are the heart of our schools, and they deserve the resources and support needed to provide a quality education. I am dedicated to ensuring that our schools are well-equipped and that our educators have the tools they need to help every student reach their full potential.

Together, we can build a learning environment where every child is empowered and inspired to achieve their goals. I am committed to dedicating the time and effort necessary to support our students and shape a bright future for our district.

Let’s work together to make a lasting difference in the lives of our children and our community.
